I am having a 512 loader installed on my 5103 and was wondering how hard it is to install more hydraulics (to power a downfoce posthole digger). The dealer quoted me 4295 for loader and 635 for more hydraulics. How hard are the hydraulics to do my self? $635 was for one more SCV I believe. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I had my dealer install all hydraulics on my 5203\512. They work very well. I don't know that I would want to install them myself after looking at the setup.

As you look into this, you may find as I did, that the cost is way to high for a hydraulic post hole digger. However, that is off topic.
Does your tractor have a rear SCV now? If it does, the most cost effective way to do this is run hydraulic hoses from the rear SCV to the PHD on the front. Be sure you have enough flow to power the PHD.

Right now my 5103 has no hydraulics that I am aware of. I bought it without a loader or pretty much anything else.
