Hello everyone,

A friend of mine bought a new JD 5203. He went to put a off brand category 1 quick hitch on it and it will not fit!! On the lift arms there is a pin with a cotter pin that I am assuming comes out for changing the balls out for cat 1. It seems to be blocking the quick hitch installation. Does the IMATCH fit better??? Any other brands fit???

When I got my iMatch I had a similar issue. I pulled out the cotter pins and replaced them with hair pins and everything was happy. Except that despite being a standard no one actually follows it... Even my Frontier tiller purchased from my JD dealer needs adjustment, but the chipper I explicitly bought it for can't fit unless I get a welder. I kept the iMatch, but also got these which seem much better suited for non-iMatch-compatible accessories:

You still need to attach the toplink, but that's never been the issue for me. I haven't had a chance to REALLY try them out, I had to go away for business right after I got them and now the tractor's going into the shop to get the backhoe attached :D.
