I have a new 5205 and a new 681 Rotary Tiller.
I can't seem to get it to go deep enough.
Any ideas from people with experience?

How deep is deep?
How many passes have you made?
New ground or has it been worked before?
Hard Clay?

I'm guessing you already adjusted the skids up and are running in the slowest gear...

New or packed ground is sometimes difficult at times especially if it's dry and or clay. Just speculating that the 5205 trans. may not go slow enough for efficent tillering in hard ground...

It's low gear goes somthing around 2mph. My 1050 for example has a low gear of around .5 or .8mph and even it has difficulty if the ground is really dry.
