520H ignition module replacement, how hard?

I have a 520H and think the ignition module is bad after testing according to the manual. How tough is it to replace? I have a puller for the flywheel, does the flywheel shroud have to come off or will the flywheel fit through the opening? It looks close, but appears the ring gear may not fit. Any tips? Didn't want to have to take the shroud off due to all the linkage being bolted to it for the governor. Thanks,

Well, it goes back together much easier than it comes apart. LOTS of crud behind the shrouds, even though I blow it off after each use. Put in the module and trigger, she runs again........

Good job! I'm kind of an Onan nut myself and the first one is a learning experience. I hope that was a new one you put in? I have tried used ones before and within a few months I was doing it again. The extra money for a new one is worth every penny.
