5216 steering/linkage Question

Was getting motivated to go out and finish the initial round of leafing done. The linkage (noted as LINK, drag in diagram on most part sites) kept falling off. Seemed like a little ball that sat down in the socket and a rubber sleeve that slid over it. Seems like it has worn out. Unsure as to what parts I would need. If the link actually comes with the ball seated down in and has just worn over time or if I need to just replace the portion that is attached to the axle. can get some images here in the next day or so if that would make it any more clear. I may not be the brightest bulb on the planet but I feel confident with some guidance from you folks I could get this licked and squared before all the leaves come down.
