5240 Loader and Factory 3rd remote problems

I bought a new L5240 this year and have been pulling my hair out with loader, 4n1 bucket problems. I like everything to be factory so when I ordered my tractor, I ordered it with a WRLong 4n1 bucket but with the kubota 3rd remote controller with Kubota 3rd remote (see picts). The 4n1 controller would open and close the jaws but they would not stay clamped and would leak down if parked wih the jaws opened. They explained to me that all valves leak but yet when the bucket was lifted it would not leak. They kept the Kubota stick c the buttons that open and close the jaws but replaced the bulky box on the side of the tractor with the WR Long valve that is tucked in behind the loader arms. I have not had time to give it a work out yet but I have to think this is better.
I have also had problems with the loader arms coming down unevenly with the right side hitting before the left side. sometimes off by several inches. Factory rep said +- 2 inches is within factory specs. Someone who worked with hydraulics felt that the problem was in the loader cylinders. In any event I have been very dissappointed.

Thanks for the detailed report. I agree from the pics that the WR Long setup looks to be a lot cleaner and more protected install than the factory Kubota setup. I have the WR Long setup on my B3030 and I have been happy with it.

I have a 5030 with a 4 in 1 bucket.

When you refer to "factory" options you need to be careful. Some of the options are properly engineered in Japan. Some of the so-called "factory" options are selected from aftermarket suppliers in the USA. You did the right thing getting the WR Long valve.

That "factory" valve sticks out like a sore thumb. Don't say it too loudly though, those Myhindro and Kiotto nuts will come out of the woodwork
