I believe you would be happier with the 4120. It is super flexbile, easy to use - all kinds of goodies to put on it, etc. As many others have pointed out, you might want to consider the 3x20 series.

You should really consider the e-hydro trans - it rocks. Did you drive that or a power reverser?

Don't worry where they are supposed to be made. Both tractors are designed in Augusta, GA. The 4000 by the CUT designers, the 5000 by the UT designers. Both use components from all over the world, both come out of the Augusta respective factories. The 4000 has more Augusta final assembly than the 5x03, but both go down the assembly lines. By the way, the 5x03 has the better reliability record because it's a simpler machine. Try both and see which fits you better.
