Mid-Mount Mower 54 inch or 60 inch Mid Mount Mower

I'm looking at the same issue with the purchase of a bx for my yard and
I believe the 54" is a suspended deck while the 60" is a 1*floating deck (rides on its own wheels across the lawn).
Responses on other threads have indicated that you might get a better looking cut result with the suspended deck. If you have an uneven lawn the smaller suspended deck may also provide fewer scalping issues.

Like I've said I have never seen a mower that extends far enough out past the wheels.

When we bought our 2210 we got the 54 thinking it would make a difference getting in between things. If I could go back I'd get the 60. Like others have said you get a smaller circle and can get closer to stuff.
