Went to change the break in oil in my 5425. The drain plug has a square hole, I found that the drive part of a 3/8 socket wrench seemed to fit the hole but it's on so tight I couldn't budge it. Is there a special tool to get that thing off?

First time removing the plug there might be some paint in the threads and that can make it a bit stubborn -- might try a short piece of pipe on the socket wrench handle; cheater bar.

Yep, it's called a long 1/2 inch breaker bar with a 3/8 adaptor on it.

Same with my 5603. Scared me at first but it finally broke loose.

I use the point of my pocket knife and break the paint seal between the plug and pan. Makes a huge difference in torque needed to remove the plug.

Used a long breaker bar with adaptor, the plug broke lose with a snap noise , must have been sealed up with paint.
