545-D - solenoid replacement help.

I am returning to this project and I could use a little help. I am wondering if the starter needs to be removed to replace the solenoid or if it can be done with the starter still on the tractor. I have most of the bolts off to remove the solenoid but one of them is hard to reach. The fuel bowl and water separator are in the way and I have not been able to find a shut off in order to remove them. Does anybody know a good procedure to change out the solenoid? Thanks.
