This is an early model, 16 x 16, mechanical shuttle tractor. Can anyone offer some insight as to how the speedshift(rabbit/turtle) portion of this transmission operates? It's obviously solenoid valve actuated, and push button controlled. Internally, it appears to be a planetary unit, and two clutches, one with two discs and three plates. The other looks like a single disc, possibly spring applied and hydraulically released? Not sure which is high, which is low, or how they interact.
