54C belly mower - blades not overlapping?

I just purchased new blades for my 2210 with a 54C belly mower. This is the first time I replaced the blades (only owned it for a year) and when I got the new ones, I noticed they didn't overlap at all. I found the part number from JD Parts and actually noticed they are identical to the ones that were on there. So my question is, why do these blades not overlap? If they aren't overlapping, won't they leave streaks? Below is the part number I was told to order from the John Deere site. Any input would be great. Thanks!

Each blade has its own cutting path. The center blade is forward and the path made by the two other blades overlaps that of the forward center blade.

the blades arent suppose to overlap.. the center blade (spindle) is near the front while the left and right blades are near the rear - this allows you to get the coverage you need for cutting and not risk having the blades hit each other

If they did overlap like you think they should, then eventually, due to belt slippage, they would be hitting each other and then you would be posting about the severe noise and vibration you have!!!
