5500 Big Red Mahindra

Well She Did It. Yes Boy's and Girl's, That's right.........

My wife went down to our local Mahindra dealer, 3 weeks ago, under cover and bought me a brand new 5500 2 wheel drive, with a quick attach, loader pallet forks, 2 remotes, and a 6'-5" HD Disc.

I had no clue it was coming.............. This is how it went today....

I got home from work, jumped on my brother in law's old massey 35, Started plowing..... I seen her pull up in the drive way, so I stopped plowing , came to the house, she had us Sonic , and she said I have some friends coming over, later, is that ok ?? Ok no Prob-Blume-O, we eat , and she said come on out side, they will be here in a few mins. Ok .... So I went out side, And around the coner ,I saw it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH !!! MY !!! OH MY...... What the ??????????

A ford truck pulling a 30' gooseneck trailer, with a
BIG RED !!!!!!! Mahindra !!!!!!!! YEAH !!!!! WHOOO !!!!!!!!!

She look at me an said, my friends are here....... I had the deer in the head light look, mouth wide open....look......... I guess I look like Homer Simpson

Come to find out the whole family knew 3 weeks ago.... Brother in law inclueded........

I got to work it alittle bit, before dark......... All I can say is WOW !!!!!
What a tractor....... Plenty Power...... I want be able to sleep tonight...

So your the one that got the 5500. It was from Top Flight right? I saw it this morning! They suppose to pick mine up today also. Nice machine. FYI...they had two 5500s there today. Go ahead and surprise the wive too!

YEP AN YEP ......... I put a total of 1 whole hour on it last night.

I'am impressed so far, Plenty of Horses, like the bucket height,can't wait to get the rest of my play things.............

Well I now have a total of 10 hours, I disc 2.5 acres, put the old covington planter on and planted 2 lb's G- 90 sweet corn . Planted 15 lb's of speckled pinto's.

I move some old wood blocks to an old stump to burn later, and fixed my Brother-in Law's driveway to his barn , I moved about 15 tons of dirt, smoothed it all out with the FEL. Oh yeah, I did this without any water in the rear tires, I will add water later

I went over to my tractor dealer ( TOP FLIGHT ) this morning , to check on my other play toy's, They will be there tuesday.. I can't say enough about these people, they do go the extra mile.
They are coming to pick my tractor back up, to put some other parts on it, and give it the once over...

All I can say is, this is one strong tractor

Glad you like your new Mahindra. Suggest you get some "Power Service" diesel additive. I use it religiously, as do a bunch of others here. Good luck with your tractor. BobG in VA
