I have a 5520 4wd and am having an issue with the FEL. The control stick seems to be sticking when I use it. This happened briefly once before and once it got warmed up it began functioning normally. Next time same issue, but rather than risk damage shut it off. Fluids are fine, the joystick just seems to be binding somehow, if you force it in any direction you have to manually force it back to center. Thanks if anyone is familiar with this issue. Other than that at 100 hours no problems with the tractor.
Thanks

I think you are having the same problem I did on my 6520's joystick. Take the bottom of the boot off and move it up out of the way. I found one of my linkage bolts backed out of the mount ,which allowed it to work sometimes and sometimes not work and bind. Put locktite on the threads upon installation.

The nut at the base of the stick was loose but isnt the problem, the bucket movement is fine using the stick laterally but the up and down, raise and lower the loader is still an issue. It isnt in the controls I dont think. When you raise or lower the arms the valve to the hydralic line just doesnt return and has to be manually forced back to the closed or center position. If you raise the lever it will just stay in the raised position and the arms will rise to full extension. It seems to raise and lower fine with full force but just wont stop.
Thanks

Cvray,
Sounds like you got some debris stuck:( in an opening and not shutting off the flow.
