Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
Can't wait for this baby to arrive.

Dave's welding the bucket hooks (in the cardboard box on the bucket) and installing the triple remotes tomorrow.

Gonna use the 5525 for heavy duty haymaking tasks (plowing, discing, baling) and it will be the go-to tractor for general purpose material handling, etc. My 1964 MF-135 diesel will handle the other chores (planting, mowing, raking, tedding).

Traded the 2005 Kubota B7510HST/LA302 FEL as part of the deal.

Gotta sell the 4-ft implements and get a 6-ft box blade and brush hog. Heading to the farm auction in Colusa later this month and hope to find something I can use there.

Congrats!

Here're the photos

That's a 6-ft Hawkline mower with a 50 hp gearbox and slip clutch. It's equivalent to the KK mowers. It's made in Ohio.

Dave did a nice job welding the chain hooks onto the bucket

Added triple remotes. Dave's setup is really nice.

While Dave loaded the Kubota onto his trailer, I did a little mowing with the 5525. Smooth as silk. Sorry no mowing photos. But you can imagine how it looked.

That is a beauty. Congratulations and good luck.
What size plow and disc will you be using with it?

It is so fun selling to a fellow TBNer. I don't do many deliveries myself anymore, but I set aside the time to do this one. Flusher has a real nice place, and is a great guy to do business with as well.

We like doing the triple remotes with a standard 3-spool valve on the fender. It's cheaper than a factory setup (and a triple isn't even a factory option) and 20 years down the road if it has a problem, you just bolt another valve on the fender. Simple, works well.

Thanks Flusher, we appreciate the business and the friendship.

I have a 2-14 IH Little Genius plow (tow type) that I bought last month.

It's in good shape. I really like that old iron.

The 5525 could easily handle a triple-bottom plow and maybe I'll get one of those later. You see them frequently on ebay and craigslist.

I have a 7-ft Ferguson tandem disc (pull type) that I bought for $200 last Nov.

Having fun fixing that one up. I'll give it a try as soon as I have it reassembled.

Also have a 6-ft Towner offset disc (pull type) that my neighbor gave me.

It's a heavy beast. I have replacement disc for one of the axles. Need to get that one reassembled also.

I'm looking for a larger tandem disc with transport wheels. Hope to find one locally this year.

Thanks Dave. The feeling is mutual. I'm going to have a blast with the 5525. It really handles all of my tractor needs.

Thanks.
We're at the North end of the Sacramento Valley about 300 ft elevation. From my front porch on a clear day I can see Mt. Shasta (14000 ft high about 120 miles away), Mt. Lassen (10,000 ft high about 80 miles away), the Coast Mtns to the West, the Trinity Alps to the Northwest and the Cascade/Sierra Nevada mountains to the East.

Rainy season runs from Nov to May then the heat comes. Triple digit temperature in Aug and early Sep is normal. Hay planting is done in Sept and harvesting starts in April with a second cutting in June. Folks with irrigated fields can get another cutting later in the summer.

This is orchard country (olives, walnuts, almonds, prune plums) as well as hay. Some cattle grazing is done.
