5525 won't turn over, need help friends

I'm glad you've got it fixed, but it sure makes me wonder how they wired the circuit on the 5525 tractor because when you said clicking it sure sounded like a battery problem. Only problem now is you will have to go back to work..but
if like me it's just having fun.

you are correct the battery is shot and that is why it clicked. but then i blew the fuse which is why it wouldn't jump at all. it is running now. still had to jump it off so a new battery is in order.

Can you tell others where the fuse is located and possilbly post pictures in case anyone else has this same problem or similar. I am glad you got it back up and running.

it is very easy to find when you know where to look. right by the clutch pedal, under the gas tank, there is a small metal plate roughly 5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. it is held in place by two screws. behind it are what look like 3 elec comnectors/plugs but one of them actually held the thirty amp fuse. just pop the cover off and pull it out.

funny, i didn't even need to remove the metal plate as mine was just hanging out in the open anyway. but it supposed to be pushed behind the cover plate. if there is enough slack in your wires you can easily reach behind the plate instead of removing it and just pull the wires out.
