Got my 5530 today. Beast of a tractor. Started scary as it lifted the back end of my GMC 2500HD pickup probably 15 inches off the ground as I was loading it on the trailer. Won't make that mistake again.
....anyway.....
After driving it around for a while, do you have to engage the clutch to use the shuttle shift from forward to reverse and vice-versa? I am (was) a straight standard tranny JD owner. Never used a shuttle shift before. Don't want to damage anything.
