580 CK Differential Hub

I have a late 60's, early 70's Case 580 CK. Had to replace the ring and pinion. I soon discovered that a spider gear fell out due to the roll pin shearing. This allowed the pin holding the spider gear in (there are three spider gears) dropped out along with the spider gear. As this happened, something jammed up and cracked the differential hub. Not sure if this was a separate problem or this caused two teeth on the ring gear to break. Either way I was able to find a new ring and pinion through "Broken Tractor". My problem is the hub. Had a machinist tell me the metal is cast and can't be welded. Thought I had a used replacement from "Worthington Ag" based on the part number (F1088) that was stamped on my hub. The part they sent me (to the tune of $480.00) was for a Case 530. My problem is finding a used differential hub. I'm trying to add a picture to this post. Any ideas?

What exactly is the difference in the two..?? What I'm seeing in the online parts book, is the early versions were riveted, later bolt on ring gear. I'll assume your's is bolted. When I ran a part number search, the F1088 crosses to several other numbers, and used in a 580CK, but was also used in a 430, and 530.

When I checked the 580C, against the 480C like I have, the differential gears match part numbers. However. for the 580, it shows the carrier as not being serviced, and no part number. On the 480C, it shows a complete replacement ring gear assy. kit, including the differential carrier (hub). Go figure.

Not sure if this will help, but did find a list of 580 CK's in salvage. As I've found in the past, if you have the serial number when searching for parts, is a big help. Case did a lot of part changes at certain serial number breaks.
