I have a 580D TLB with the 207 engine. Its overheating with a new thermostat installed, take it out runs cold. I think the water pump has lost capacity. Is there any way to check it's output? Is this a common thing?
Thanks

I'd take the thermostat out and heat up some water and put it in and see if it infact does open,, I'd also double check to see it was installed in the right direction ( no dis intended ), just covering possibilities.
