'59 MF 35 3 cylinder perkins tractormeter?

Hello All,
First time poster,
My question is regarding the tractormeter/tach for my grandpas 35, it quit working years ago so I ordered a new gauge and cable (both were shot). The new gauge came with standard connection for the cable which runs to the cam but also a second connection with a protruding square hook up? This second hook up above the one I need makes the gauge not fit. Just curious what this hook up is for and where I can find a single centered output gauge? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G'day reco and :welcome: is it another hook up point for the cable or is it for a globe? If it is for a globe and you are not going to use it lit up at night then I would just trim it off or take it back to the supplier and get them to get you the right one I have never seen one with a dual cable input. There are several aftermarket suppliers of these ( Bare co and Sparex are 2 i'm sure there would be others over there)
