1941 John Deere B electric start
after much debate, I'd like to pick up a 5055E or a 5065E, or something that size and HP and price point, that's green and yellow, def not this year, maybe next year. how long has this series been out and when do you think Deere with unveil its replacement? dreaming ahead I know, just curious. I like the steel fenders, simple, no frills design, and that its 7" longer and quite a bit heavier than my NH 2310. nothing wrong with the NH, just need something that resembles more of a farm tractor, and I need it for under 25k.

Would not think that you would see any model changes for a while. The e's for the most part are re-badged 5000 05 series units. There are always rolling changes but the basic tractor has been around for quite some time now. The main reason for the model change is for the worldwide model number system they are going to that ref gross hp in the model # to try and simplify choosing a model.

look at NH workmaster 55 or 65. they look like a farm tractor (whatever that means) and you can get one with a loader and 4x4 for right at $25,000. NH has better financing too
