I have a 6' Brush Chief, LS brush hog. I need to sharpen the blades but can't figure out what size the nut is on the top edge of the blade. You can access through the nuts through the deck hole.

I know it is not 1 /12" 3/4 drive, it may be 1 3/4". Anyone have an idea?

How do you keep the blades from turning when you wrench it?

May be Metric.

Have you tried raising it up or turning it over so you can use an angle grinder and not have to remove the blades?

Use a pneumatic impact to remove Nuts.

I got it off by taking off the nut on the gear box shaft underneath and used a puller to get the stump jumper plate off. The blades are kind of damaged, just going to get new ones.

Thanks for the replies.
