My LS XJ2025H tractor is 48" wide and came with a 50" light-duty bucket - about 200#.
I upgraded to a 60" heavy-duty bucket for snow removal - about 400#. Very robust but way heavy.
This worked well for a number of years for clearing snow from my 150' long concrete and asphalt driveway.
When I moved and got my longer and diverse driveway, I was thinking for snow removal, a heavy-duty bucket was not efficient.
I just used my new 72" material bucket - about 300# and could not be happier.
I now have 12" of overhang on each side of the tractor. So many benefits like clearing under the mailbox.
Given our overnight snowfall of medium density snow, I can still push snow as far as I want, and put on as big of a heap as I want with no problem.
Wish I had a 6' wide bucket years earlier.
