6 ft.Rotary cutter verses 5ft. ???

I bought that exact same mower. I've only been able to use it a couple times for short periods but I like it a lot. It's currently being run behind a 5325 (55 pto hp) and it does fine. Probably a little overkill but I bought it to run behind a smaller tractor I will be buying in the future and because I got a great deal on it.

Good to hear.I have always been a Woods or Befco equipment buyer.I also purchased a 7 shank bush hog field/ripper cultivator last week from the same dealer.Time will tell if I become a bush hog fan of there equipment.LOL.

I actually wanted a Bush Hog brand mower for the longest time. Had an MX6 and bent the pto shaft somehow or another. I had an old John Deere 519 that I beat to death and NEVER tore anything up but somehow tore up the MX6 "medium duty" cutter in much easier use. I let the dealer talk my into that mx6 and I shouldn't have, should have just bought the Bush Hog I'd intended to by. When I found my 5325 I saw the dealer also sold new implements with his used tractors. I asked him to find a 6' Bush Hog brand mower on his lot and put it on the trailer when he delivered my tractor. I had a choice between the squealer and this bh16. Went with this because they were the same price but a newer model.

My box blade is 1000lbs and the tractor does not act like it is there. The I welded a hitch on the back of my box blade to use with the dump trailer and it happily picks up the trailer loaded with dirt or wood. I am guessing another 1000lbs on the tong of the trailer So I doubt you will have any issues with a 800lb cutter. CJ
