Hi, I've been hanging around the tractor section for awhile but I just now found this forum and it's just in time!
After servicing my tiller with a 6hp Tecumseh motor I noticed an oil leak coming from what I think is the governor linkage. It's located behind the cylinder jug and coming from a small pin sticking up through the motor block with a snap ring holding the pin in place. The pin is flattened on the top where linkage is attached that goes to the carb. The oil leaks after the motor is running for 10-15 sec. and is coming out of where this pin goes
down through the block where the snap ring is (the pin diameter is slightly bigger than a #2 pencil lead). I can't get the pin out to see if there's a seal. There is a bolt below this pin which I've had out; there are holes (ports?) in the threads for this bolt.
Any ideas would be appreciated
