Box Scraper 6 year old box blade with 1 day of use

My dealer said he had a slightly used box blade for sale but he wasn't sure of the history. It is a Rhino BX66. There is still paint on the blades and the corners are not worn. The owner was out so they didn't know what the price should be. They found out through the serial number that they sold it to the city in 2001. When they pulled the file it showed that the city traided it in for a 72" the same day they bought it. It had been on the lot for 6 years. It is now in the back of my truck.

Hope you got a good deal. I purchased a box blade this year and i find the box blade one of the most usefull implements i own. It makes a great ballest box for FEL work .

Howdy, and welcome to TBN. Sounds like you got a good find there. A good BB is a very usefull tool. You'd be amazed at what folks here can do with theirs. When you get it broken in, post some pics. Hearing about them is good, but seeing is great.

Yep just bought my BB last week, today I ripped upped the driveway again with the scarifiers and smoothed everything out with the FEL. Still need some practice with the BB.

Yep.. the box blde is the swiss army knife of tractor attachemnet.. unparalledled in utility except by a full hyd FEL..
