The dealer and I just put on my new old stock 60" 7-iron mmm on my new to me 3120. I also put the bigger R4s on instead of the ags it had. 2 questions. First, could you get 3120s from the factory with the bigger R4s and second does anyone else have this deck on their 3000 series cause it seems the trim side hangs out past the tire width but the discharge side is right in there at the tire edge. Seems offset, is it supposed to be that way? Seems to mow good though.

yeah, it should be that way. my MMM on my L118 and the MMM on my granpa's 2210 are both offset to the left side so you can get it under a bush or something that may hang over the grass just a few inches. it also helps for getting up close to concrete so your tires wont rub it. the discharge shute is just out further so the grass clippings dont get all over your rear tire.

The 3120 is no longer offered. When it was you could get the larger R4's. On the 3x20 series the spedo is calibrated to tire size, so changing tires means the mph readout on hydros is off.
