Mowing 60 in deck differences

Yes. But, candidly, I've never liked beating up my expensive MMM deck by bashing into rocks, etc. If you know you've got conditions like that, an MMM is not the best option. My cousin has a B2620 with the 60" MMM deck... has regular trips to the welding shop to put his gauge wheels back on because his place is full of rocks and stumps. I am fortunate to have better ground - kind of bouncy but no rocks, etc., and my 54" deck has stayed in virtually new condition over 10+ years of use. IMHO, if you've got tough terrain to mow, better choice is a 3 pt cutter in back.

Rear mount mower would not work on the tree crowded terrain I have.
I would get a Zero turn but they're way to rough riding for my familes taste. Test beat one once then rented one for a day.
Would never invest in one.
Most manufacturers seem to be going to
Suspended decks for some reason. The ground contacts take a terrible beating but hug the terrain independent of the tractor. Suspended decks are above the fray following the track of the tires. My concern is more and more lawn care CUT decks are designed for smooth neighborhood turf.
