60 loader mounting brackets

I recently purchased a used 60 loader for my 670.It came with no mounting brackets,but i thought "how expensive could 4 brackets really be?".I quickly found out.If i buy the brackets individually from deere i will spend $1000 dollars.Wow.The BM part number is no longer listed on deereparts.I have searched partsdepot.com but came up empty handed.Any ideas?Thanks!

Both the Model 60 and 70 are discontinued loaders. So, maybe that's why they aren't listed?

Well,here i am a year later.I finally have the loader brackets needed for the 60 loader/670 project.No instruction sheet was included.My dealer searched all of his resources,but to no avail.I contacted John Deere but came up empty handed as well.The loader owner's manual refers to an instruction sheet for the mounting brackets.But nobody seems to have it.It seems that all resources have been exhausted.Any ideas?Thanks everyone.

I have the Operators Manual for the 60, 70 and 70A Loaders, SN 110,001-

Manual number is OMM120877 L3 English

Got it when I bought my 770 with 70 FEL 5 years ago, and the manual was new then. Seems like it might still be around. I'd copy it for you but I'd have to slice the binding off of it to do that. If you have no luck with that PN in a week or so, PM me and maybe I can work something out.

Dan,if you have time,would you see if your manual covers the installation of mounting brackets onto the tractor?I have the early manual,OMM79638,and it doesn't cover it.Perhaps a newer manual like yours would.Thanks again.

I have both your OMM79638 and a third version 60, 70, 70A loader manual, OMM115223. It also has no info on mounting brackets. Looks like the drawing and parts list on JD Parts should provide enough info to do the install. The operator manual does have info on adjusting the loader to the mounts.

Actually it is archived. That is where I found it. You just need to know where to look for it or be willing to put in the effort. Unfortunately you got someone who didn't try very hard or didn't know where to look.
