6030 or 6520

anyone outthere with an opinion on the difference?

I like the 6030 FEl , it weighs 6230lbs, has a large platform and 8x8 shuttle shift 4WD for $25,600 or so. The 6520 4WD with FEl goes for around $27,500. It weighs in @ 7300lbs. It does have 12x12 shuttle.
The extra gears on the 6520, more HP and weight, plus the fact the 6520 is not in its first year of production probably make it worth the extra 2K.

Also according to Mahindrauas.com the 6520 has a $1500 REBATE

Nothing major that I am aware of. Lots of posts on here about them. Biggest you can get from Mahindra CURRENTLY

The 6520 has a large FULL platform. The 6520 also has heavy duty 3PH arms (see photo below) with sliding adjustments and also have telescoping tubes instead of check chains like the 6030 has. If I didn't own a 6520, I would definitely buy the adjustable arms. The 12 speed is sweet also. I can put it in low 1st, hit the steering tilt and stand up and level dirt with the bucket. The 6520's 3PH will pick up around 1100 more pounds than a 6030. The 6520 uses the ML275 loader that lifts 3900 pounds up to just over 11 feet. Well worth the price deference. Get the skid steer qucik attachment loader no matter what you end up buying.
