Mowing 62C mower deck, stripped blade bolt

Has anyone had this problem?

I lost the left blade (side opposite discharge) while mowing. Found the blade, washer, and bolt (next to a rock I hit).

By using a thinner washer for a temporary fix, I was able to get enough threads to catch so I could finish mowing. I can't tighten the bolt with the washer that's supposed to be on there.

I can't tell if the threads in the spindle are stripped (probably are).

Do I need to replace the whole spindle?
Looks like a longer bolt would hold, if I could find one.

Before I take it to the dealer, I thought I would run it by the collective genius of the forum to see if anyone has had to deal with this problem.

shaft is avail alone for less than $30, I'd replace it if it was mine, hate to see a blade come off at the wrong moment!

I called the dealer, they have the spindle and bolt in stock. I think that's all I need.

Went to the dealer and bought spindle (AM127432, $22.95) and bolt (19M7872, $.99).

Fairly easy repair, with the deck off, take the belt off the pulley, loosen the nut on top of the pulley, drive the old spindle out.

I installed the blade on the new spindle before install, it makes it easier to tighten the nut on top of the pulley. The new spindle includes a zerk.

Took a lot of grease in the new spindle.
