I have what was the stock seat on the 6500 4WD in 2005. My tractor is outside a lot and the seat did not shed water or snow very well. Also the material seems to crack quite easily in the elements. I have the seat off and I am trying to decide if I replace with the same model which is about $350 or if I replace the bottom pad for around $150 or if i select a seat that would do better in the elements? Since this seat is ridgid and does not fold it becomes a container for snow or water if the little hole gets plugged. The seat was very comfortable and I tried getting covers from a dealer but they were too small. That has me thinking that Mahindra changed to a smaller seat a few years down the road. Thanks in advance.
