6530 cab

Well today I traded my 4720 open station with loader and grapple for a 6530 cab with loader and grapple. I looked hard at the john deere equivalents their price was just not in my budget. I had appr 400 hrs on the 4720. Man a cab sure is nice. If anyone has the 6530 let me know how it has done. Thanks Jim

Wow,nothing like a new tractor! A cab in Fl. must be for the heat, not the snowblowin! After reading some of the recent JD deliveries sound like you did the right thing.Going to need some pics,good luck and use it in good health.

I will have to get my better half to try and teach me how to post pictures. The cab is for the summer heat,dust,and winter cold. It was 17 and 18 degrees 2 morning in a row here with humidity. I know it is hard to believe, but the cold is worse here than dryer areas. If it is 17 here it feels like 0 or below in dry areas.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

My dealer has a 6530 cab tractor sitting on the lot, and it's mighty tempting, but I spend too much time in the trees, and I think I'd be making the glass company owner's boat payments for him...besides - I've not found my 3510 lacking (for what I use it for) yet.

Lunk I agonized greatly for the same reason as you trees.... I decided that for a few hundred dollars I could fabricate a cage for glass protection if needed. I also have decided to slow down a little when in the trees. Only time will tell, but man I sure love climate control.....
