660 net wrap

My new holland 660 round baler with net wrap will not extend the net to wrap the bale. When it does extend sometimes, I can not get the retract to work. This is quite the problem having to get off and move things manually, and then it sometimes than does not work. The bale command runs a self test and checks out fine by its standards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
