Have an Italian 7' tiller (forward rotation) that I used with my Kubota M7040, which I sold. Now have a Kioti CK3510SE HST (PTO 28hp). What do you guys think of using the tiller on this smaller tractor if I take it easy? Risks? Love my bigger tiller and obviously would rather not have to buy another one. Weight is not a problem.

You can set the depth and speed to accommodate your hp. Since you said weight isn't a problem, I don't see that you have a problem.....go for it.

Ditto. I run a 65HP tiller on a 40HP Kubota all the time. I don't go the maximum depth because a tiller creates compaction and it works fine. Less horsepower is OK but too much HP is what kills a tiller.

EDIT--Also, C" shaped tines take less HP than "L" shaped tines.

I have a CK40 and run a 6Ft with zero issues even in very hard clay, If the ground hasn't been tilled before just make shallow passes

Just remove tines off flanges until you get it down to the width you want, and have at it!
