7010 cab

Anyone bought one of the new 7010 cab tractors? How bout an update? What would one pay for these things with a fel and 4x4?
Should be a substantial increase in power from the 6000 I own. Who makes the engines? Daedong? What about the height at drawbar compared to 00 series? Someone suggested it may be too low to use rolling hay.

As far as I know (or at least have read) the 00, 25, 30 series and the 7010 cab use Mahindra engines.
The 3510 (gear) and 4110 are DaeDong engines.
The 15 series machines are Mitsubishi

The 00 series use the daedong. Don't know about the others. Wouldn't it be cool to see a perkins in a 80 horse 4x4 cab Mahindra with a real FEL.

I think the 00 series engines were designed by AVL in Austria and built by Mahindra...I may be wrong but before I bought my 6000 I researched it and that's what I found then. BobG in VA

It is true, the 00 series engines are built by Mahindra. The 7010 Cab uses the Mahindra engine also, making it the only 10 series tractor not powered by Daedong.

Dave is correct. The 00 series and the 7010 use Mahindra built engines.

I stand corrected! I thought I read somewhere the 00 series used the daedong engine.
Anybody got a line on a price?
How bout some more info on this engine. Is it a newly designed engine or one Mahindra has been using in other tractors overseas? If so what tractors?

I purchased a 7010 and am approaching the 50 hour mark. A few quirks but overall, so far so good. The engine is the Mahindra model NE472R

That may have been my comment about the rear end hight. Maybe someone who has one can verify if the rear end clearance is a problem for hay bailing.

Actually, it was the 7520 I learned had the rear end hight concern for bailers. Still have not seen one myself so can't say for sure.
