Instead of continuing to hog the other thread, I figured it was time to start a new one.

I've gotten a hold of the parts breakdown for the 702C Blade(thanks to Jason & my local dealer). I started looking at the tractor tonight. Seems like it wants to bolt on in the same place as the FEL brackets.

Does anyone know if it is compatible with the Loader?

I'm trying to build my own plow bracket - I've go an old moldboard & frame. Need to attach it to the tractor.

On my 35D the loader bolts on to the same place as my MMM.
They just piggy back the mounting plates.
Yours might be the same way.
Since u are building it go ahead and do the same or make your mount use the FEL mount so it is Q-T.

We have never sold a front blade that we did not mount on the loader frame. So I really dont know for sure if it is compatible. I think I remember reading some place that they are not compatible.

Spencer,
I can do one better than that! We have never ever sold a front snow blade!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Not much demand in Houston, TX. Not a clue as to if it is compatiable or not.

Spencer200,

Thanks for the answer.

That's what I was afraid of.

Is the New 702D quick attach mount compatable?

Hoeman -

My MMM works the same way. In my Loader instructions is says to shim the mount with a spacer if you don't have the MMM. Ie they built in space for both brackets. I don't see any extra shims I could remove for the plow frame. Unless I unbolt the MMM mount for the wintertime.... Hmmm /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'll have to think about how to mount the frame to the FEL brackets. They are kind of high off the ground, but I think you may be on to something there.

Is there a reason why you are not considering a loader mounted blade? you can stack snow really high with this type of blade. The most common aftermarket one is Curtis and they make a lockout for the blade so you can use it like a dozer blade if this is what you are trying to do.

I tried that last winter, didn't like it. My driveway is pretty tight, U with trees, fence etc. all nearby. I mounted the plow on a couple "ears" I bolted into the bucket. The rig was just too long out front. I do enough damage to the fence with just the loader on, looking for something more compact. Plus I want hydraulic angle - I know I could get it with a diverter valve on the FEL circuits.

Thanks for the suggestion.
