Tractor
John Deere 4110, John Deere 332,
How much if any, modifications would have to be made on the 70A bucket to fit the 410 loader?
Thanks

Is the 410 loader quick attach at the bucket? I have a 70 loader, not 70A but the bucket is likely the same. It is NOT quick attach. There are four pins, two on each side: Two pivot pins at the bottom and two dump cylinder pins near the top. Let me know if you want some measurements, I can do that this evening /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks a lot! That pretty well answered my Question. The guy wanted $200 for a 70A 54 " bucket and I wanted to get an extra bucket to install a tooth bar on!

Does anyone have the sizes of both the 70A 54" bucket Vs the 410 53" bucket ? I 'm wondering if there is enough room to install the quick connect brackets on the 70A so as to fit it on a 410 and not get into a major job?
Any help really appreciated

I am sure you have your reasons...But I gotta ask! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Why not just get a removable toothbar for the bucket you already own? They can be installed/removed in about 2 minutes.

No problems. The Deere QA on the 410 is about 48-49" wide. You will need to remove the four brackets with holes from the back of your 70A bucket, but nothing that a torch and a hand-held grinder can't handle. Weld on the hooks and pegs for the Deere QA to your 70A bucket and you are set. It should take you a few hours to complete it.

Would the back of the 70A be tall enough to allow the installation of the top quick hitch bracket? The width is no problem but I'm wondering aout the height!
Thanks

Hmm...that's a good one. You would likely need to add a few inches above the back of the bucket for the top hooks. Unless you use a pre-spaced, weld-on plate with the hooks and pins already on it, you may have a rather involved job. I hope that I didn't get your hopes up too much with my previous post.
