I'm having problems with tractor supply parts. I have a '71 2000, and think the factory lift arm length is 32" center ball to center ball. Tractor supply arms are 32 1/2", the stabilizer arms from them are 31 9/16" W.T.F. ?
My lift arms are badly worn. I have been using there stabilizers with no problem but if I put on their new lift arms I don't see how they can work.
Any thoughts on my problem?
Things I thought as options
#1 - shorten new arms to 32"
#2 - make new stabilizers 32 1/2" long
#3 - leave the old worn out stuff on (lol)
Also on the new lift arms the linkage connect holes are drilled in a slightly different place. Will cause linkage to be connected 1" closer or farther away. Farther causes more lift power, less height, opposite for closer.
