I have a backhoe that will start and run for approx. 1 minute, sometimes more and then it starts exhuasting blue smoke and then dies. I have dumped the old fuel and replaced it with fresh, changed the fuel pump and filter. Next I blew air through the fuel injector return line that goes back to the tank, to make sure thers no restriction. Took the top off the injector pump to be sure the silinoid is working correct. When it starts and runs , it seems fine, the exhaust is clean while its running, but then it will start exhausting blue smoke and then dies , it doesn't make an difference how much throttle you give it. I have even thought about pulling the turbo off to be sure it not locking up ? I put a piece of PVC to the turbo and other end to my ear , and sounds O.K. I didn't hear a loud bearing sound. The next thing is possibly removing the injector pump and getting it rebuilt, but I would like to know that that's the problem before I spend the money . Any HELP would be GREAT. Thanks J.T.
