Tractor
Ford 1710
can someone with a ford 7108 loader get a few dimensions for me? I am looking for the amount of curl up (tilt back) with the bucket on the ground and the amount of dump with the bucket on the ground. Also looking for the length of the arms from center pin to outside miter angle where the two arms meet. Also what is the angle at the top of the two arms where they meet?

I am building my own loader and i did have a 7108 loader across the road I was somewhat copying but now the tractor is gone lol.

thanks everyone

I’ll try to get them off mine. I put a SSQA on mine so bucket angles could be slightly different

You mean CL of pin to top Of the arm mitre as in the picture above? can you measure the angle between the arms from the top? For some reason when I got some of these dimensions I must have screwed something up cause i can't get the proper size cylinders in place and that means not as much dump or curl with the bucket.

what about a measurement of the arm length from upper pin to lower pin at the bucket? What sucks is I had a lot of the brackets all waterJet cut out for me so I wanna work with what I have lol.

Yes, I measured the dimensions shown in your diagram.
I have no way to measure the loader frame angle.
Perhaps I could measure the distance from the CL of the bottom bucket pin to the the CL of the loader top pivot pin, if that would help.

I think I might have wrote down 44" from top edge to length of arm.. So what would give me about another inch in length if it's 44" to CL of pin. Still not quite enough though.

Distance from CL of top of loader pin and CL of bottom bucket pin is approx. 73-1/2".
The front tire is slightly in the way of a precise measurement, and it is 19 degrees in the barn, so am not willing to start the tractor just to raise the loader, and shut it down.
The measurement is likely within 1/8" of being exact though.
Next time I plow with it I will measure again.

I measure the angle to be about 117 degrees
