The wheels would probably be the more expensive part of the build. I always seem to have a few scrap pieces of iron, rod ect laying around. Can't ever throw steel away unless it is nearly useless to me.

How do you tip the mower up on the stand/wheels? Tip it by hand?

I get the axles installed and pinned by propping the deck on a 4x4 block of wood, then I just lift the deck up from the opposite end. Yes it is heavy...weak mind and strong back I guess!

Hello all from Maryland as well. I have a 2008 3720 with 70 hours and a Auto Connect MMM. It goes on and off very easy on my garage floor. Once on the ground, I get a 2X4 stud about 3 feet long in one had and with my other hand I lift one side of the deck slide the stud under then lower and lock the wheels - then do the other side...wallah...just push it around on it's own wheels. Be sure to lower the wheels before a reinstall. I'm thinking about getting one of those storage wheel sets as well just to put it on it's side for the off season, but it's moves around pretty good on it's own wheels.

Highly recommend the auto connect! It goes on and off easily anywhere, including a smooth garage floor.
