Does anyone know if cub cadet still supports a loader for a 7272 2wd?

If none, do you know anyone who has one for sale? Thanks, rider

Rider, I don't see why they wouldn't still support it. If I remember right Woods made the loaders for the earlier 72XX series Cubs. I have a 7234 but it has the Bush Hog loader on it. You can go to the Cub site and search for the parts manual. PDF Manual Web Archive. You also can send an inquiry to any of the Dealers that sell Cubs that belong to this forum. There are plenty that I think would be glad to help you.

Thanks for the reply. I have priced the bush hog, koyker, buhler allied and I believe the woods model. They all come in installed at about 3900 dollars. The cheapest is the koyker and it seems to have larger cylinders and better features but is cheaper. I am still waiting on the local Cub dealer who I bought the tractor from in 1997 to let me know about Cub. Meanwhile I sent them a message as you suggested. Have you had good service on the bush hog brand? Thanks Rider

Rider, the BH loader has worked just fine, I have had no trouble with it. When I bought my Cub I could have got the Cub loader or the BH. The BH was cheaper at the time plus if I remember right it had a little better specs than the CC brand. It is not a quick detach loader but I have only had the loader off once in 10 years. The fit and finish is not quite as nice as the CC model but I think it is every bit as tough. One difference at the time was the BH loader had rubber lines through out whereas the CC model had steel lines and rubber where flex was needed. At the time I think $3k was a ballpark figure for a FEL but everything goes up! Shortly after I had it one of the bucket pin zerks wouldn't take any grease so at the time I decided to remove the four big pins and they did not come out easy at all. They were force fit as near as I could tell and I really had to pound on them to get them out. I replaced the four pins and have never had any trouble since. The loader looked like it had sat around outdoors somewhere for awhile but why my dealer didn't catch the fact that one of the pins wouldn't take grease is beyond me.
