730 loader hydr pump

Okay got the thing fixed and working. I put a spacer inside the coupler hub from the tractor and the pump coupler. With the spacer against the end of the pump shaft and against the front of the drive coupler there is no wear as they turn as a unit. Again thanks for all your help. Now I hope at some point I will be able to pass on that help and help someone else.

Just saw your post, I also have a 730 loader and I'mabout to install it on a 3000. There are 3 different lengths of driveshafts; you may need a longer shaft for your particular tractor. Make sure you use a high quality spline grease to prevent early wear on all of the splines. Do not use wheel bearing grease or any other typical grease. It will only heat up, turn to liquid, and get flung all over
