I am approaching 300 hours on my TC33D and decided to change from 134D to F200A in order to lessen the cold weather "whine" of the hydraulics. Not wanting to "mix" the fluids, I thought it best to purge the fluid from the loader lines. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to accomplish this? Does anyone feel it is unneccessary? I already bit the bullet and purchased (ouch) the oil!

Not necessary. Didn't do it when I switched to Amsoil.

Probably not neccessary. Just retract all your cylinders that way there'll be the least amount of old oil in the system.

And at that, only the amount that the rod takes up. Hydraulic oil can be mixed, synthetic or otherwise. I agree, just get out what you can.
