I have posted this "Loader Stop" in the Build-It-Youself section but would like your input as well!(for those who don't frequent that section).

I did see your invention a while back and think it would work pretty good.

I typically let my loader off on the ground and when hooking back up I just turn the bucket forward causing the bucket to stop the loader from moving. I keep it in a place where I don't care if it tears things up. Now next year I hope to have a garage with a concrete floor and then your idea would work great. So I will be keeping it in mind.

Have been in the process of building something very similar after chasing my loader across the shop floor!

I have added a bearing pad for the stand where it contacts the floor. Cleaning blue paint off the concrete and scuffing the paint off the stand were not my ideas of fun.
