7308 sticky linkage

Anyone else experience the controls of their 7308 FEL getting stiff? It’s just the left and right movement of the stick. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Anyone else experience the controls of their 7308 FEL getting stiff? It’s just the left and right movement of the stick. 
I have not. Two year old TC25D, with 183 hours on it.

Mine still works good at 60 hrs. How many hours do you have on your tractor/loader ?

It is just about to turn 100 hours. The loader was installed when the tractor was new.

If it isn't something common I guess its time to call the dealer.

Haven't heard of that but there was some people whos backhoe stick was breaking attachment bolts and they oiled the controls.

I would pull the rubber boot off and squirt a little oil on the valve shafts.

Just to follow up and close the thread... It turned out to be in the linkage that converts left to right movement of the stick to forward and back needed for the valve.

Some Dubya D loosened it up. It looks like two different metal materials and if I recall my metalurgy, that can lead to a mess.

Same problem with my shifter. It was dry as a bone from the factory, so I sprayed some white grease from an aerosol can, and the shifting is much improved. Still doesn't feel like a Hurst shifter, but it's now tolerable. Seems like more care is needed by NH.
