7500 HST - Kubota
Hello out there. Its been sometime since I was active here when first purchasing my kubota 7500 hsd.

Now with under 200 hours on her, i lost the ability to engage the mid mount mower yesterday. No damage just will not spin pto. After further investigation however, I noticed that the rear pto is spinnin regardless of pto lever position. I am also getting a random but brief grinding sound when just running the tractor up a hill (like if you bump the pto engagement lever)

Any ideas? I cant get it in for service for some time which leaves me dead in the water. Any ideas on things I may be able to diagnose would be helpfull. I am hoping that its just a sensor or something that needs adjusted but the random griniding sounds has been very worried about costly repairs.

Most likely your linkage from the hand lever to the pto is bent. Had similar problem on my 4340. Just need to bend it back for proper function.

Well, Its definately not the lever that is bent. Its internal. I called the dealer and they want to break it down stating "sounds" like the actuator fork? I'm looking at least a thousand bucks 2 months outside of my powertrain warrantee.

I'm thinking about trying to tackle this myself (heck, if I'm outside of warrantee what is to loos?)

Where can I get a kubota shop manual for my B7500? anybody have one on cd?

Id ask your dealer to step up to the plate. Good companys normally have a good will deal this close to warantee. If dealer is not cooperative then let him know further purchaces are dependant on how they handle this issue. Lastly go to Kubota. Good luck.

if the dealer won't help-
call kubota and ask to be put in contact with the factory rep for the area.
