Comparing the MSRP from the Kubota '07 Wholegoods Price List (that was linked to here in PDF form awhile back), the difference between the basic tractors is $885.
This doesn't seem unreasonable when you consider:
The
B7610 will handle the stronger LA352 loader
Besides 3 more HP, you get 7 more engine cu. inches and the extra torque that go with it (the difference isn't just an injector pump tweak)
The $885 will be reduced by whatever discount you get from the dealer (15% off both tractors will reduce the difference by 15%)
You get bigger rear tires (11.2-16 vs. 9.5-16) which will carry more fluid
Of course the difference will be greater if you come upon a
B7510 that a dealer is trying to get rid of. My local dealer spoke of a
B7510 turf special that he had a hard time moving and had to sacrifice.
The MSRP of the
B7800 is $1730 more than for the
B7610. Well worth it IF the larger
B7800 isn't too big.
