7520, 6520 - Manufactured Calhoun, GA?

No specs, just that they are listed in the finance section of the Mahindra website. I would think (hope) that they would have made improvements in the engine and radiator for these tractors. I think that they have already made other improvements on the 7520 as well.

Larry, did you ever have over heating issues? Mine has continued to run warmer and warmer. 1st year could hardly get it to warm up, I'm sure that it got to thermostat temp and that was it. 2nd year about the same, maybe a little warmer. 3rd year it would run warm when working it hard and would flat out peg the gauge when it was hot outside. This year it has been in the middle of the gauge with only light work and goes up from there. I have an infrared thermometer, maybe I will check it out tomorrow and see what it really is.
I have had only potential issues. Mine has ~450hrs, bought new in Spring '06. It demonstrated a "soft" notch at mid scale on the T gauge, so I figured thats the tstat op point. It didnt take much in the way of hard work to push it up out of the notch tho. The 1st winter I had to block the radiator to get it to warm. Since then I have taken out the headlights because they were being damaged by loader work. The gaping holes admit a lot of debris to restrict the radiator pre screen and Ive been watching for indications that it needs cleaning. Still havent. Still doing ok in summer. I just dont do anything that gives it a long workout. Maybe I should put the bushog on and dip it in the lake! It might be getting better as it breaks in? My injector timing may be slightly retarded?

Sorry for the change of topic, back to the 8560, sure do wish that Mahindra would get that thing out for sale, and there new 45 hp tractor as well. Would like to at least see some specs on these machines. But I guess that Mahindra doesn't want to get them out without all the bugs worked out ahead of time unlike some other manufacturer that had put their machines out a bit premature. I suppose that time will tell.

Hey MtnView, that model is already for sale, at least it is here in Texas.

NEW MAHINDRA 8560 4-WHEEL DRIVE TRACTOR

He quoted me an internet price of 32,500 (4wd w/ front-end loader) add about 5k for the cab model when that comes out. I'll try to make it up there around the end of the month. Maybe I'll snap some pics and post.

Hello all,
Still have not pulled the trigger on a new tractor, but with Mahindra's new financing options (4.99) that may move me off of center. With the economy in the dumps I am kind of wondering where the 7520 & 6520's are built? Are they build in Calhoun, GA? When looking at a tractor is there a way I can check to find out what plant built it?

Thanks,
Doug

As I said earlier the tags on my Mahindra 5525 say it was built in India. That said, my dealer takes delivery of partially assembled tractors that arrive at his place in steel shipping frames. The wheels are off along with other bolt-on parts. He does the final assembly, checkout and dealer prep at his place. I may be mistaken, but I think Mahindras come into the U.S. (to Georgia or Texas) in those shipping frames are are sent directly to the dealer.

I think that a lot of guys are waiting to see the cab model. Not much of a reason for me to look at an 8560 ROPS model. That would be a lot of $$$$$$ for me to get 8 more HP. With them out for sale now, I wonder when Mahindra will finish updating their website with some specs? Looks like Bills has some of the specs, but not all.:(

I got a brochure for the new 60 series yesterday. Ask me something and I will look it up. I broke my scanner/printer the other day while clearing a printer jam. Otherwise I would scan in the 60 series brochure and post it here.
hugs, Brandi
