I have had only potential issues. Mine has ~450hrs, bought new in Spring '06. It demonstrated a "soft" notch at mid scale on the T gauge, so I figured thats the tstat op point. It didnt take much in the way of hard work to push it up out of the notch tho. The 1st winter I had to block the radiator to get it to warm. Since then I have taken out the headlights because they were being damaged by loader work. The gaping holes admit a lot of debris to restrict the radiator pre screen and Ive been watching for indications that it needs cleaning. Still havent. Still doing ok in summer. I just dont do anything that gives it a long workout. Maybe I should put the bushog on and dip it in the lake! It might be getting better as it breaks in? My injector timing may be slightly retarded? No specs, just that they are listed in the finance section of the Mahindra website. I would think (hope) that they would have made improvements in the engine and radiator for these tractors. I think that they have already made other improvements on the 7520 as well.
Larry, did you ever have over heating issues? Mine has continued to run warmer and warmer. 1st year could hardly get it to warm up, I'm sure that it got to thermostat temp and that was it. 2nd year about the same, maybe a little warmer. 3rd year it would run warm when working it hard and would flat out peg the gauge when it was hot outside. This year it has been in the middle of the gauge with only light work and goes up from there. I have an infrared thermometer, maybe I will check it out tomorrow and see what it really is.
